  1. Hey there, I found you through BEA’s blog. I decided to click and check out your blog because the title peaked my interest. Na verdade, eu falo Português e fiquei bem feliz de ver que vc é Brasileiro. Sou Canadense, mas moro em Brazil desde 2002. É um prazer conhecer seu blog.

    • Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I’m very happy that you picked my blog, and now that I know it’s you, I’m even happier. The intense colors of the foods on your blog are unique, and they sure reflect the creative brain behind it, so I could not feel more honored to have been chosen by you. For me, this is what really matters, so I honestly hope you don’t mind if I don’t participate. Thank you so much, Mr. Violin.

      • You’re welcome! I completely understand. It is a lot of work and can be time consuming. Thank you also for your kind comment. I do look forward to your creative, interesting and entertaining posts~ Abby

  2. Thank-you for taking the time to visit my blog and read my poetry. Your blog is inspiring and one of the most Original I have seen! Fantastic!

  3. Hi! Thank you for dropping by – I hope you’ve enjoyed it. I am definitely going to take a closer look at your blog (err…, or should I say listen carefully), though maybe not at the moment (it’s 2 a.m. in Poland :)). So, until next time! 🙂

  4. Absolutely love your work and your audio presentation! That is something I’ve longed to do, especially since I’m unable to attend outside poetry readings. I love poetry accompanied by music, too – but your wonderful voice and inflections ARE the music of your poetry! Thanks for liking my Halloween poem, will visit you again!

  5. Your blog is innovative and educational, and I appreciate being led here by your likes on my blog. As an educator, may I encourage you to keep going? Perhaps look for other blogs or Twitter accounts that directly deal with EFL and get in touch with them. Well done!

    • Hi Maggie, thank you so much for your exceedingly generous comment. Since this is a new venture and has no specific goal yet, your words of encouragement, knowledge and experience go a long way toward helping someone who is navigating uncharted waters choose the right path, so I would kindly ask you to keep sharing your qualified feedback with me. See you, Mr. Violin.

  6. Thank you “Talking Violin” for liking my Bet-Tease Bucket Blog. My blog is amateurish when compared to yours. Your blog is unique. I will be stopping by your blog on occasion to see how things are going.

    • I don’t know about that, but one thing is for sure, your writing is unmatched. I don’t know if you have noticed, but your previous comment has a special place on my comment page. You’re a very special contributor, and I can only hope you keep leaving bits of your talent on The Talking Violin. Thank you so much!

  7. Congrats Mr. Violin! Your blog is really outstanding. Are you from Brazil? I was born in Campinas. Certainly you already heard about, right? Violin is it your last name?

    • Hi Elisa, thank you so much for commenting on my blog. Yes, I’m from Brazil, and Violin is indeed my last name. Not only have I heard of Campinas, but I’ve also been there a couple of times. I hope you keep coming back to my blog, Mr. Violin.

    • Hi James, I couldn’t agree more with you. Thank you very much for your insightful comment. I’ve really appreciated it, and I hope this is the first of many. I look forward to hearing from you again, Mr. Violin.

    • Hi Ethel and Everett, great feedback like yours makes me feel like narrating even more stories. Thank you so much. As for your lovely New England accent, don’t worry! You will soon be able to share it with the world, since I will encourage people to leave voice comments on my blog. I’ll let you know when it’s available so you can participate. I look forward to getting your comments, Mr. Violin.

  8. I agree with the others and think this blog is wonderful!! There is a balance of deeply informative as well as very funny posts here. Adding the audio does make it even more special. Please keep up the good work and the great stories coming as I’ll be following! 🙂

    • Hi Lisa, those are special words coming from way too generous a person. I don’t know what to say, but thank you so much for your feedback. Your words of encouragement are deeply appreciated. Needless to say, don’t leave me alone. Keep commenting!

  9. Hi – Your blog is great just adding a bit of voice to the stories is wonderful and helps to reach another group of people who might find reading (English?) a bit difficult. Thanks (<:) too for dropping by my blog.

  10. hey thanks for checking out my blog.It made it possible for me to discover you.
i really enjoyed the work, and i can relate to the fact that you too don’t have an aim.

    • It’s not really a soup. Feijoada is more like a stew prepared with black beans, pork trimmings, bacon, smoked pork ribs, smoked sausage and jerked beef. It is most commonly served with sliced oranges and rice. I’m happy you love it, though. Here in Brazil, people are crazy about soccer and feijoada. Thank you very much for commenting on my blog, and I hope you keep coming back.
