  1. Love your method of blogging, my thoughts ten to be way too jumbled to make it work, but you do a great job! Thanks for stopping by and liking “Snow, Sleds, and Memories”!

    • Oh, Staci, thank you so much!! You know, you’re a very special fellow blogger, and I wish there were more like you, many more. I’m happy that you chose The Talking Violin for this nomination. Actually, I’m flattered. If I were given the task to nominate somebody, you would certainly be on my list – in fact – at the very top of it. I, however, do not accept awards, so I really hope you understand. Please, don’t get me wrong. I haven’t accepted any. Once again, thank you very, very much.
      Mr. Violin.

      • Awwwwe, that’s so sweet of you. Thank you for that. I totally understand that you don’t accept awards and not to worry because I’m not offended.
        Blessings =)
        P.S. If you by any chance tried to enter in to see the post and it didn’t work it’s because something went wrong with it. It’s fixed now and should be ok.

  2. Thank you for following my blog TTV. I’m a teacher of English as a Second Language too and have that in mind when I post. (I like to use and explain Australian culture and idioms in Daytripper Sippers.)
    Yours is such a great idea. Very unique. Do you use it in your lessons?

    • Yes, I do, along with pieces of audio from America, England, Australia, Canada, and any other place where English is spoken. I believe that by exposing students to the sound of English, I can more efficiently raise interest in the language, creating opportunities for all sorts of class activities.

      Thank you so much for commenting, and I hope to keep getting feedback from you.

    • Hi Vijay, thank you so much for nominating The Talking Violin again for an award. I really appreciate it! I, however, do not accept awards. In fact, I haven’t accepted any, so I hope you understand and keep being a great contributor to my blog. Once again, thank you very much, Mr. Violin.

  3. Greetings friend! I’d like to thank you for commenting, liking or following my blog. As such I want to nominate you for the Dragon’s Loyalty Award. Please go to this site: to read the rules and decide if you want to accept it or not. It’s your choice and I hope you will, but it’s up to you. Mostly I want you to know that I appreciate your loyalty to me and my writing. Thank you so much!

    • I’m very happy you’ve chosen The Talking Violin for this award. I really can not thank you enough for your kindness. I, however, do not accept awards, so I hope you understand and keep being part of my blogging experience because I’ll certainly keep dropping by for more. Once again, thank you so much. Happy New Year!

      • I do understand and it’s totally fine with me. I just wanted to thank you for being such a loyal visitor to my site. It’s very much appreciated!
        Happy New Year to you and yours!

    • Hahaha, I’ve received a lot of great feedback from my fellow bloggers, as you can see here on the comment page, and they’re all exceedingly generous, actually too generous, but yours takes the cake hands down for being so incredibly spontaneous. Yes, they’re for real! Just click on them and you’ll be taken to the post where they originally come from, or if you’re not taken anywhere, it’s because they are on this very same page. I really hope you like my blog, but if you don’t – please – cut The Talking Violin some slack. After all, I’m still in the Christmas spirit. Thank you so much for commenting, and I hope to keep getting feedback from you. See you, Mr. Violin.

  4. I am pleased to tell you that I’ve awarded you the Blog of the Year Award 2013! There’s no obligation to accept, I understand completely if you don’t. Anyway, thanks for reading and liking my blog “adicanada” I appreciate your support. For details about the award, please see my post Have a Happy Holiday and All the best for you on the New Year!! Adrian B.
